STEP 1: Hello, nice to meet you

To book your appointment, just call or email. Together we will agree on day and time for the shoot and take a deposit {you may choose to pay half or all of the session fee at the time of booking}. The deposit can be paid with credit card over the phone, or via BACS transfer. Once payment is received, we will send you a confirmation email which includes the details of the shoot a contract which outlines our services, and our product look book, which features all the prints, books, wall art and collections we offer.

Should you be interested in purchasing a session as a gift, we offer beautifully packaged gift certificates, designed especially for you and the lucky dog who will be receiving the best gift of all time!

Step 2: Licks, Sniffs & Interior Design

Next, we like to schedule a brief “get to know you” appointment at the studio, over the phone, or at your home. This is an opportunity for you and your dog to get to know the photographer and vice versa.  Many of our clients find this appointment helpful for discussing how to incorporate their portraits into their home. We will often measure walls and take photos to use later for mock-ups of art on the actual walls they will live on!

If the shoot will take place at your home, we find this consultation really important, as it gives the photographer a chance to get inspired, plan for light and of most importantly… begin to spoil your dog(s) with love + lots of treats!

STEP 3: Get to the good stuff

The shoot itself will take place at our twickenham studio, at your home, the park or any other location of your choosing.  For locations sessions, we suggest that the shoot take place somewhere that your dog is safe, relaxed and uber happy. {Don’t worry, the photographer can suggest locations if you’re not sure.} Many shoots are spread between both indoor and outdoor locations in order to capture the many sides of your dog’s personality. Studio sessions usually last between 45 minutes and an hour and a half, Master Sessions usually last 2-4 hours {depending on the locations, the day, the d0g(s) and the light}.

STEP 4: More good stuff!

A week or so after your shoot, we invite you to join us at the studio for your sales session.  Your images are presented in a slideshow on the big screen, and then handed to you on an ipad for closer inspection. Then you can easily start to narrow down your favourties. We will show you sample albums, prints and wall art, and go over the look book, and help you make your final selections. This bit can be difficult because there are inevitably SO MANY great photos to choose from – but don’t worry – we’re here to help – and there is always wine, tea and/or sweets available to fuel you.

Orders placed at this appointment are subject to special product collections and promotional offers. Most products take two to four weeks to design and ship. In most cases these items will be picked up at the studio, but shipping right to your door is also an option.

  • Unless otherwise arranged with the photographer, all animals and pets must be from the same household.

  • Payment is due at the time of booking. Shoot days are subject to availability, but most often occur on Mondays, Fridays + Saturdays. Saturdays have the highest demand and must be booked well in advance.

  • Deposits are non-refundable, but if need-be, with min. 48 hrs. notice, the shoot can be rescheduled and the deposit transferred.

We offer tailor-made collections for all tastes and budgets, and what you spend depends entirely on how you would like to keep and share your portraits. In 2014, most of our clients invested between £750 and £3,600 in their prints, books and bespoke photographic products.
